
Position Description
The Macro Finance Lab (MFL) at Princeton’s Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy & Finance (JRCPPF) is dedicated to the study of the connections between finance and the macroeconomy. The research assistant(s) will work on a historical global trade and finance project. The main goal is to digitize a trove of historical data from official reports in the 1920-1970 period. The tasks will involve scanning historical financial and trade records; using software to convert the data to a digital format; cleaning and formatting data for analysis. There is potential for the intern to some preliminary analysis based on progress and interest. This is an excellent opportunity for budding researchers interested in learning more about international trade and finance.
