The ASAP Professional Pathway focuses on a pre-professional internship with the goal of giving interns the opportunity to learn what it is like to work in a particular field, and to build skills and networks relevant to that field. This pathway is designed to facilitate interns’ professional exploration and development. Interns on the Professional Pathway commit to attendance and full participation in the program’s weekly Wednesday workshops and coached, small-group accountability sessions, as well as presenting their work at the end of the summer. Professionals are expected to dedicate approximately 6.25 of their 36.25 hours weekly to program activities and 30 hours to working directly in their internship placement.
